Aditya Shashikumar, son of renowned Kannada actor Shashikumar, popularly known as the ‘Supreme Hero,’ is set to make a comeback with a brand-new project.
Titled RaashiTitled Raashi, the film was officially announced on the occasion of Aditya’s birthday. Directed by Vijay, Raashi marks an exciting new chapter in the young actor's career.Speaking at the event, Aditya Shashikumar expressed his excitement, saying, “This is my third film as the lead actor, and I am thrilled with the story. I am even more excited that the title was revealed on my birthday.” He also announced that he has changed his name from Akshith Shashikumar to Aditya Shashikumar and requested that he be addressed by his new name moving forward.The film’s producer, Akhilesh, reached out to director Vijay Palegar after a visit to Mantralaya, where the idea for the film took shape. Akhilesh has written the story while Vijay Palegar has written the script, composed music and is even directing the film. Raashi is his second directorial venture after Trigger.

The film's Muhurta ceremony was recently held at Panchmukhi Ganpathi Temple and production is set to begin soon.Actress Sameeksha, along with cast members Kari Subbu, Ugram Ravi, and Huli Karthik, also shared their enthusiasm for the project during the event.
