If we talk about World Rose Day, then it was started in the memory of a Canadian girl Melinda. It is said that she was suffering from blood cancer at the age of just 12 years. Seeing this condition, even the doctors could not help in any way and gave up on finding a cure. Regarding Melinda, the doctor had told her that her life expectancy was only 2 weeks, but Melinda did not give up on this and fought her disease for 6 months. During these 6 months, Melinda spent time with patients battling cancer, tried to make people happy through poems, notes and many other ways. Where after fighting courageously for 6 months, Melinda died in the month of September. Only after this the tradition of celebrating this World Rose Day started.
