Udaipur : A man-eating leopard has instilled terror in three villages under Gogunda Gram Panchayat, located 45 km from Udaipur. Having claimed three lives, the leopard has forced residents to stay indoors, venturing out only in groups for essential needs. Both the Forest Department and the Army have launched a search operation.
Despite a night-long surveillance using night vision equipment on three locations on September 19th, the leopard remains elusive. A team from Bhaskar visited the villages affected by the attacks and spoke to the victims’ families. They also explored the jungle where the leopard has been spotted.
