If Mumbai is called the City of Dreams it is for many reasons but the biggest reason of all has to be the limelight of Bollywood where people try their luck to become famous. Over the years we have seen several actors enter the industry. While some succeed others despite their hard work don’t receive the recognition they deserve. Similarly there is an actress who made her debut under the big banner Yash Raj Films alongside the extremely popular Shahid Kapoor. Despite this she couldn’t make a name for herself in the industry. She worked in several films but fame eluded her and gradually work opportunities dried up. This actress is none other than Tulip Joshi. If youre unfamiliar with the name Jimmy Shergill’s film Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai might jog your memory. Following Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai Joshi appeared in movies like Dil Maange More Matrubhoomi Superstar and others. Beyond Bollywood Tulip Joshi also worked in Telugu Malayalam Punjabi and Kannada films. She tried her luck in all these industries in search of fame but in the end she was met with nothing but failure. Disheartened the beautiful actress now 43 decided to leave the film industry behind and pursue a new career. While many might assume she started a YouTube channel or became a social media influencer the reality is quite different. Tulip became an astrologer. The former actress is now known as a Vedic astrologer and keeps herself busy with spiritual practices. Recently she shared a post on Instagram where she encouraged people to seek Vedic consultations from her. In her post she wrote I am Tulip Joshi an actor and Vedic astrologer. Through astrology I offer advice on various issues related to relationships career and health. The actress is married to Captain Vinod Nair who served as a commissioned officer in the Indian Army for six years with the 19th Battalion of the Punjab Regiment. Together Tulip Joshi and her husband now run Kimmaya Consulting a company reportedly valued at Rs 600 crore. Both Nair and Tulip Joshi hold positions as directors in the firm.
