When Ashish was asked about Action Replay in the interview, he said, “I once got a chance to work with Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai in 'Action Replay'. I was called for its audition and luckily I was selected, but was replaced. A month ago I was told that you are shortlisted. We were having a workshop and they kept doing the workshop for 10-15 days continuously. Then suddenly the calls stopped coming. After that, when I saw the promotional poster of the film one day, I came to know that I have been replaced by Aditya Roy Kapoor. Many such incidents have happened with me.”
