During this, her sister also questioned her about obesity and weight. On this, Amrapali bluntly said that if I lose weight, I will do it on my own will, not on someone's advice. She said that I don't listen to my father, why would I listen to anyone else.
Akanksha Dubey said that my weight was close to 100 kg at one time. During this time people used to body shame me (make fun of my obesity). Have you ever faced this because of your weight? On this Amrapali said, "Look, I love my body a lot. It does not bother me. I do not have diabetes, I do not have thyroid problem. I want to reduce my weight so that I never have to face these problems in life."
Amrapali further says, “If someone feels that I don't fit in their parameters as an actress, it doesn't matter to me. Cast those who fit. There are many people who are dying to work in the industry. I welcome them wholeheartedly. Let them work. There are girls who fit in your beauty standards, many such girls have left their homes and are struggling. Please cast them. I really want to see them working.”

Amrapali said, "I am like this. The world has seen the work I know. I do that work and focus on that. If I try to change my body, it will be because I want to. No one should put pressure on me that if I want to be in this business, I will have to look like this. I don't even listen to my father, so why would I listen to anyone else." When Akanksha jokingly said that her father is going to watch the show, Amrapali laughed and said, "I listen to my father. But I don't want to change even one thing about myself."
Amrapali said that I have dealt with body shaming. I have heard all that. I read their comments. She told that she blocks those who comment and also deletes the comments. During this, she told that she has many fan pages, which keep giving befitting replies to those who comment on her behalf.
