Two people were killed and one was seriously injured in firing by land mafia in an attempt to capture land in Rupangarh in Kishangarh subdivision of Ajmer district. Police is investigating the matter.

Ajmer. On Sunday, a land mafia gang opened fire in an attempt to capture valuable land on the highway in Rupangarh of Kishangarh subdivision of Ajmer district of Rajasthan. Two people died in this incident and another was seriously injured. This violent incident over the occupation of the land of the Jain community has spread panic in the area. Due to which the markets have closed and people are hiding in their homes. Police is investigating the spot.

Land mafias opened fire in public

According to the information, the members of the land mafia gang came in a car and started firing directly. The sound of bullets created panic. One person died on the spot in this firing, while two others were injured. The injured were first admitted to Rupangarh Hospital, but due to their serious condition, they were referred to Ajmer, where another person also died on the way.

Angry people set JCB and several vehicles on fire

During the incident, after the firing over land grabbing, angry people vandalized JCB and other vehicles and set them on fire. Due to which the atmosphere became heated. Seeing the situation going out of control, apart from the local police station, police force from other police stations was also called on the spot. Police is trying to control the situation in the area immediately after the incident. Deputy Superintendent Satyanarayan Yadav and police from other police stations are present on the spot. Superintendent of Police Devendra Bishnoi has also reached Rupangarh after this incident and is monitoring the situation.

So far the reason for the controversy has come to the fore

According to sources, the root of the dispute is the land of the hostel of Shwetambar Jain society, which the land mafia was trying to occupy. The police is now conducting blockades to identify and arrest the members of this gang. Seeing the tension in the area, there is anger among the local people, which is being tried to be pacified. The police is gathering detailed information in this matter, so that action can be taken against those responsible.
