On getting the information, a quarrel broke out with the wife. In anger, the wife strangled her husband to death and fled from the spot at night. In the morning, after reaching home, she started pretending to cry and telling about the death of her husband.

The police reached the spot and uncovered the truth and arrested the wife. The deceased's brother has filed a case against Rinki Devi. 40-year-old Ashok Nishad, a resident of Tiliya Kuan Vikasnagar, Gorakhnath, was married to Rinki Devi about 20 years ago. Initially, everything was fine. Their household was running smoothly.

Ashok and Rinki have three children. The eldest daughter is married. One daughter and one son are yet to get married. In the last few years, Ashok started fighting with his wife. The family feud increased so much that it became difficult to live in the house. In such a situation, the husband and wife separated. For some days, they lived like strangers under the same roof, but later the dispute started again. Both would become aggressive as soon as they saw each other. In such a situation, the wife started living in a separate rented house about six months ago.

During this time Ashok had decided to sell the house to fulfill his personal needs. Through some medium, this information reached Rinki. She came to get information three days ago and both of them quarreled over the sale of the house. In the argument, Ashok said that this house is my ancestral house. You have nothing to do with it. I can sell it for my needs. At that time the wife threatened that if you do this then be ready to face the consequences. During this time the wife came to know that Ashok has made a deal to sell the house to someone and is about to register it.

Dispute over selling of house

On learning about this, Rinki went to question and protest against him last night. The two again started fighting, which continued till late night. During this time, the matter escalated. Rinki angrily threw Ashok down and sat on him and strangled him. He became completely silent in a short while due to strangulation. Seeing this, Rinki got scared and ran away from there at night and when she came back in the morning, she started crying loudly, pretending to cry and telling about her husband's death.

People from the neighbourhood gathered. Ashok's two brothers also live next door. Their family also came. When Ashok's brother Khublal informed Gorakhnath police station, the police also reached the spot. The police started investigating the case and sent the body for postmortem. During the police interrogation, Khublal said that Rinki kept talking to my brother till late at night. We live separately. When it was late at night, we slept.

Ashok's brother's suspicion was revealed

When we woke up in the morning, Rinki came from nowhere and started crying. My brother was murdered by none other than his wife Rinki. On this information, the police took Rinki into custody and interrogated her strictly at the police station. Rinki accepted the truth in front of the police. She said that we both had a fight and I got angry.

This incident happened in anger. I did not want my husband to sell the house, due to which my children would become homeless and this incident happened. The police arrested him. SP City Abhinav Tyagi said that on the complaint of the deceased's brother Khublal, a case has been registered against his wife Rinki Devi and she has been arrested. Further action will be taken on the basis of evidence and facts.
