Pidru Paksha 2024: Pidru Paksha fair is currently going on in Gaya, Bihar. People from all over the country and abroad come here to pay homage to their ancestors. However, there are some individuals or several social organizations in the country who donate pinda to unclaimed corpses other than their ancestors. In this line, 'Manav Upkar', a social organization of Aligarh, has ritually performed the Pint Daan of 198 unclaimed dead at Seethagund premises. We tell you that 193 people from the organization came to Gaya to do Bind Don. A special feature is that 98 of them were women members. Performed by Pint Don. Speaking to reporters, members of the organization said they cremate the unclaimed bodies found in Aligarh, Hadhras, Bulandshahr and Gautam Buddha Nagar districts according to their religion. After that their ashes are dissolved in the various rivers that pass through the holy places of the country. Vishnu, the head of the organisation, which has been conducting funerals for the unclaimed for 25 years, left Aligarh 25 years ago after seeing a rickshaw puller dumping an unclaimed body on the river bank. Vultures, crows and dogs tore the dead body and ate it. Seeing this, a thought arose that these unclaimed corpses would have some parents in this world, but misfortune did not claim him. Along with his colleagues, he founded an organization called Manav Upkar and started working for such underprivileged children. After this system was started, the cremation of the dead bodies started. After that, the cremation of his ashes started. "We have donated Bind here today for the peace and salvation of the souls of 198 unclaimed Hindus," said people from the organisation. So that salvation can be given to them. 193 people came to offer Binda Don to these unclaimed bodies, of which 98 were women. Everyone looked very happy after doing this noble deed.
