The timely arrival of a group of monkeys is said to have prevented a guy in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, from raping a six-year-old girl. When the UKG student informed her parents about her incident later, she claimed that the monkeys had “saved” her.

The tragedy happened on September 20 in Baghpat’s Daula village. The accused, who was charged under pertinent POCSO Act provisions, is now at large and is being sought for by the police.

The accused, according to the authorities, sought to sexually attack the youngster after luring her to an abandoned home, whereupon she was discovered by monkeys. He fled, leaving the child alone, fearing the animals’ hostility, according to the authorities.

The culprit was seen dragging the girl along when he was caught on the village’s CCTV cameras. Using the video, the police are attempting to identify the defendant.

He lives in a different hamlet, according to the police. They alleged that he saw the girl playing outside her home and convinced her to accompany him.

They said that he attempted to rape her in the abandoned home after taking her by the hand to the street next to a place of worship. He threatened to murder the youngster and her family members if she protested, the girl’s parents said.

The child reportedly hurried home and alerted her parents about the event after the alleged monkey assault that saved her life, according to the authorities. When her family arrived at the police station, they filed a report.
