Shubman Gill, an Indian batsman, cruelly teased Mohammed Siraj on the third day of the first Test match against Bangladesh. It’s well known that Siraj and Gill get along well and often enjoy themselves together on the field. In a now-viral video from the match, Gill was heard making fun of Siraj.

Siraj’s previous video, which he shared on Instagram to verify his read ID, was referenced in the teaser. He shows in the video that although there were several phony accounts, the one mentioned was the original. The video has divided the internet community in two.

Shubman Gill, meanwhile, silences his detractors in the second innings with an outstanding century. Gill’s performance in the lead-up to the seizures was somewhat suspect, and his failure in the first innings drew further criticism. Still, the batter maintained composure and hit a stunning century.

Bangladesh Cannot Handle The Heat In India

Additionally, India won the first Test convincingly by a margin of 280 runs. It was all India, until for the opening session, when Hasan Mahmud shook the Indians. After India fell to 144/6, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja combined to score 199 runs for the seventh wicket, saving the team and helping them reach 376. India had a commanding lead in the second innings when they knocked Bangladesh out for 149 thanks to the ball-wielding prowess of Jasprit Bumrah. Gill and Rishabh Pant both scored century during India’s second batting session, helping the team set a winning goal of 515.

While Ashwin did not take a wicket in the first innings, he more than made up for it in the fourth, taking six wickets to help India win spectacularly.
