Regarding the impending UP International Trade Show 2024, which will take place at the Expomart Centre in Greater Noida from September 25 to September 29, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Traffic Police have issued an advice. The warning said that heavy, medium, and light cargo trucks would not be allowed on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway in order to preserve efficient traffic flow in the area.

“However, black goods vehicles carrying essential commodities like milk, vegetables, fruits, medical supplies, etc., will be allowed as per no-entry instructions,” the ACP Traffic Noida Police said on X in their advice.

Other Paths

The traffic warning included information regarding alternate routes due to the trade event. It said, “Vehicles entering Delhi State from Chilla Border at Chilla Red Light (Border) and going elsewhere can take a U-turn from Chilla Red Light and proceed to their destination via NH-09/24 to NH-91 and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.”

According to the warning, “Vehicles entering Delhi State from DND (Border) and going elsewhere can take a U-turn from DND Toll Plaza and proceed to their destination via NH-09/24 to NH-91 and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.”

It further said, “Vehicles entering from Kalindi Border in Delhi State via Kalindi Kunj Yamuna (Border) and going elsewhere will proceed to their destination via NH-09/24, the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, and NH-91.”

“Traffic heading towards Delhi from the Yamuna Expressway (Jewar toll) will be diverted towards Aligarh at the U-turn before the Jewar toll,” the alert said in reference to traffic on the Yamuna Expressway. To get there, this traffic will go via Tappal and Aligarh. Traffic will be redirected towards Jewar and Jahangirpur after passing the Jewar toll. This traffic will use Khurja and Bulandshahr to get to its destination.”

The warning added that “Heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), medium goods vehicles (MGVs), and light goods vehicles (LGVs) will operate from the Eastern Peripheral Gautam Buddh Nagar with no-entry provisions for normal movement to other districts or areas, using routes like NH-24 and NH-91 to reach their destinations.”

Advice for Experience Expomart

There were also suggestions for visitors to Expomart in Noida in the traffic alert. It said, “Vehicles arriving at Expomart via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway may park at the Bada Gaolwakar parking lot to get to the site. Through the Government Ministry junction and Purta Parisar from the Accurate College intersection, they may reach the parking via the service road at Kahn Hindon Cut.”

Additionally, it said that after methodically placing their cars at the roundabout’s parking lot, drivers traveling to Expomart via the Goenka Greater Noida Expressway will be able to access the store via Galgotia Cut and the Expomart roundabout.

Finally, the traffic warning included further advice to those who were attending Expomart.
