Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu once again spoke about opposition leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha on Monday. Defending his remarks against him, he said that if the Congress party wants to protest, it should protest against Rahul Gandhi. Meanwhile, Congress workers tried to protest against Bittu in the CBI gate area but the police took them away in buses.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that Bittu should apologize to the whole country for his statement. At the same time, when Bittu, who had come to participate in a sports event, was asked about his statement against the Congress leader at the airport, he said, 'It is not about Congress or BJP. It is about Punjab and Sikhs.'

'Either Rahul Gandhi is Pappu or...'

The Union Minister of State said, 'Rahul Gandhi himself goes to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib so many times... who stops him? So this is not a matter of the party, it is above the party.' Bittu said, 'You tell any one person... who has stopped us from wearing a kada? Who has stopped us from wearing a turban? Who has stopped us from going to the Gurudwara? So if the Congress has to oppose, it should oppose Rahul Gandhi.'

However, the minister did not say anything on the question whether he stands by his statement against Rahul Gandhi or not. Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing Industries Bittu had come to inaugurate the 57th Inter Railway Shooting Competition at Jagatpura Shooting Range.

During the inauguration program, Union Minister Bittu opposed Rahul Gandhi's statement given in America and said that the Air Force Chief wears a turban and the CISF Chief is a Sikh. He said, "I am sitting in front of you. What is the meaning of saying such things.. that too after going to America." He said, "You can guess, either Rahul Gandhi is Pappu or Rahul Gandhi is a very naughty, cunning man."

Railways making efforts to promote sports

Bittu said that the railways will increase the budget for the purchase of sports equipment for the players and they will be provided all kinds of facilities along with training by high-level coaches. He said, 'Railways is making tireless efforts to promote sports. An indoor stadium will be built in Ganpati Nagar Railway Colony at a cost of Rs 40.50 crore in which all facilities will be available for sports like basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, table tennis, wrestling etc.'

Bittu should apologize for his statement

Some Congress workers reached the CBI gate area to protest against Bittu but the police took them away from there in buses. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condemned the arrest of Congress workers. He wrote on 'X' that the arrest of Rajasthan Congress workers protesting against the violent statement made by Union Minister Ravneet Bittu against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi is condemnable. Ashok Gehlot said that Bittu should apologize for his statement.
