Amit Kumat the CEO and Managing Director of Prataap Snacks Limited is an exception to them he is someone who overcame all the adversities to achieve great success. He was once being buried in Rs.6000 crore debt & took out a company from there & built a Rs.2000 empire.  Amit Kumat First Major Setback Amit Kumat started his entrepreneurial journey by entering the chemical manufacturing sector. He had high hopes for his first business venture but things didnt go as planned. Within a year of launching his business Amit faced massive financial losses resulting in a debt of Rs 6 crore. This could have been the end dream for many startups but Amit Kumat did not give up. With unwavering determination Amit decided to give business & himself another chance. Amit Kumat Launched Snacks Business In 2002 In 2002 Amit Kumat shifted his focus to the snacks industry and decided to start a business in Indore Madhya Pradesh. He reached out to his brother Apoorva Kumat and his friend Arvind Mehta to take their help in this new journey. With their support and an initial family investment of Rs 15 lakh Amit started the snack-making business. This time his hard work paid him off. Slowly the business began to gain traction. The initial sales gave Amit the motivation to push forward and in 2003 Prataap Snacks Limited was officially established. This was the foundation of India’s one of the biggest Snacks business. Pratap Snacks Yellow Diamond Brand Pratap Snacks expanded its product range and became known for its delicious namkeen and potato chips. The Yellow Diamond brand became a household name competing with other major players in the Indian snacks market. Amit Kumat focused on quality innovation and customer satisfaction helped the company grow rapidly. Today Yellow Diamond offers a wide range of products including chips puffs and other savory snacks. Pratap Snacks Rs 2059 Crore Giant Pratap Snacks now operates four factories across India producing a vast range of snack items. Amit Kumats story is an inspiration to many.
