Before the next T20I series against Bangladesh, the Indian hitter, who is known for his powerful finishing abilities, got another tattoo. ‘God’s plan’ was the newest tattoo on Rinku’s left arm; it was the same slogan he used to inspire Dayal, whom he had repeatedly hit five sixes against.

Dayal helped Royal Challengers Bangalore qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs against the Chennai Super Kings, and Rinku praised Dayal, calling it “god’s plan.” The tattoo artist Raghav shared on Instagram that Singh also had a subtle allusion with five Os, which stood for the five sixes he smacked against the Gujarat Titans on April 9, 2023.

The last time we saw Rinku in action was during the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Despite having a quiet series overall, he did roll his arm to take two wickets in an over, which helped the Men in Blue win the match in a super over.

Rinku Singh has played for the Indian side in 23 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) overall. He has amassed 418 runs at a strike rate of 174.16, including two fifties. The youthful player participated in two ODI matches against South Africa in addition to the shorter format last year.

The 26-year-old is anticipated to be included in the Indian squad for the next three-match Twenty20 International series against Bangladesh, with the first game scheduled for October 6 in Gwalior. Rinku is anticipated to be a member of the Indian T20I team, which also includes Hardik Pandya and T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav, among other white ball experts.
