In a major strategic move businessman Ratan Tata’s company has decided to challenge major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and flipkart. Tata group-owned Quick commerce company has come up with a new plan to sell electronic items including Apple i-Phones.  The company has created a category for iPhone 16  and claimed that it will deliver the same within 10 minutes. Under the category the company has placed products like laptops mobile phones and playstation consoles.  The consumer will get the benefit if they receive products at their doorstep within stipulated time. The iPhone users are going to enjoy the offer as it was a commitment for the e-commerce platform. I would also increase competition among e-commerce platforms who will be coerced to sell their products on cheap rates to reach out to the consumers.  The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has reportedly noted that Flipkart is selling products on its platform arbitrarily and it has a secret deal with Samsung and Xiaomi which is against the rules of market competition.  People have already started purchasing Apple iPhone 16 since its sale began on September 20. IPhone 16 series has received tremendous response from the customers. In India Apple iPhone 16 series launched at price of Rs 79 900 while Apple iPhone 16 Pro price is Rs 134000.
