Delhi Mayor Dr. Shaili Oberoi has written a letter to the MCD Commissioner regarding complaints of garbage spread. In this, she has sought a reply from the MCD Commissioner regarding the garbage heaps at many places. Delhi Mayor has written in the letter that does the MCD Commissioner know that the waste collection agencies under the MCD have been banned.

These agencies collect garbage from every house. By banning them, heaps of garbage are piling up, due to which the problems of common people are increasing. He has written a letter to the commissioner seeking an answer and has also said that this can cause many health related problems. In this letter, the mayor has also asked four questions to the commissioner.

People are angry about the waste agency

She wrote in the letter that complaints are coming from all the wards that the waste collection vehicles are not reaching people's homes. Due to this, garbage is piling up in many places of Delhi. Due to this, the people of Delhi can become seriously ill. They can also get serious diseases like dengue. Along with this, she said that to know the realities better, she had gone to many wards last week, where she came to know that the garbage collection vehicles are not going door to door to collect garbage. She told that all the people are unhappy with this management of the waste agency.

Two day ultimatum given

Along with this, he has also asked four questions to the commissioner, first of all he asked whether you know that the waste agency is not collecting garbage door to door in many areas of Delhi. Along with this, he has also asked the reason for this. While raising the third question, he said that what is the reason for the waste collection agency doing this? Along with this, he has also sought an explanation on this. In the last question, he has told the commissioner that such a thing can pose a big threat to the health of the people of Delhi. Along with this, he has given the commissioner two days' time till September 26 to answer this letter.
