Aadhaar card can be used to reset your UPI PIN. Let's see how to reset UPI PIN using Aadhaar. But it has some conditions.
It is easy to reset UPI PIN number using Aadhaar. But your Aadhaar card must be linked with a bank account with UPI. The mobile number linked to your Aadhaar and bank account should not be different.
For this open UPI app on your mobile. The steps are same for all UPI apps like Paytm, PhonePay and Google Pay. Open bank account option here. You can find your bank details from here. Reset UPI PIN option can be used to reset the PIN.
Here you can enter your Aadhaar number to verify your identity. Just enter the first six digits of the Aadhaar card number here. After that you will get OTP on the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP received on the phone.
Then enter the new security UPI PIN number. Once this is done you need to enter your new UPI PIN again. This completes the pin reset process.
