In Azamgarh, the farmers availing the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi will now be physically verified. Their face e-KYC will be done by going door to door. The officials of the Agriculture Department will go to the farmers' homes and do their face e-KYC while doing their physical verification. There are a total of 8 lakh farmers in the district who are availing the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi. In such a situation, the Kisan Samman Nidhi of those farmers who are deprived of physical verification can be stopped.

About 56 thousand farmers of the district have been identified for face e-KYC. On the basis of which people of the Agriculture Department will go to the houses of all these farmers and do physical verification through face e-KYC. According to the information, some kind of discrepancy has been found in the data given by these identified farmers or their fingerprints have been worn out due to which their data has been found suspicious.

To do physical verification, the Agriculture Department has deployed 150 technical assistants who will go from village to village and do the work of face e-KYC. All these farmers will be verified through the app in the mobile. At present, the facility of KYC of Kisan Samman Nidhi is available at CSC centers, through which KYC of farmers is done.

Due to the fingerprints of some farmers being worn out, their KYC is not being done through finger prints, due to which they are not getting the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi. In such a situation, after face e-KYC, all these farmers will start getting the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi again. Apart from this, if farmers want, they can also do automatic face e-KYC through the app on the mobile.
