Tech News Desk –Dreame X40 Ultra was launched in India on Tuesday. The robot vacuum cleaner has a mopping function. This new flagship device from the Xiaomi-backed brand features a self-cleaning mop with 12,000Pa suction power and auto-empty system. The new robot cleaner has a round shape and a raised part on top that houses a laser-based navigation system. It has an RGB camera with AI and 3D structured light. The Dreame X40 Ultra has a 6,400mAh battery and can be controlled remotely using the Dreamhome app or a paired voice assistant.

The Dreame X40 Ultra is priced at Rs 1,29,999 in India and will be available for sale via Amazon. It comes with a one-year warranty. The robot vacuum and mop combo will be available at a special promotional price of Rs 99,999 during the upcoming Great Indian Festival sale.

The Dreame X40 Ultra Vacuum Cleaner has an inbuilt RGB camera and 3D structured light technology for obstacle detection. It creates a four-level detailed map of the room for cleaning and claims to identify and avoid 120 types of objects including shoes, cables, etc. It has a turbidity sensor that ensures the mop is re-rinsed when needed. Also, it has an anti-tangle tricut rubber brush to remove hair, pet hair, dust and litter. The self-cleaning machine comes with a suction power of 12,000Pa.

The vacuum cleaner has dual rotary mops to vacuum and mop your home. The side brush can lift up to 10.5 mm and reach wall corners and curved furniture legs. The robot can extend its mop up to 4 cm. It has a 3.2-liter vacuum bag and the machine is marketed to need to be emptied only once every 75 days of use.

You can set no-go zones and virtual walls. There is a new curtain zone in the app that claims to help clean curtains without sticking. The Dreame X40 Ultra also supports Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Siri. Its base station handles automatic dust bag emptying, hot water mop cleaning (70 degrees Celsius), self-cleaning washboard, automatic mop drying, and refilling of water and cleaning solution. The clean and used water tank has a capacity of 4.5-litres. The rotary mop has the ability to dry with hot air for up to two hours after cleaning. The Dreame X40 Ultra packs a 6,400mAh battery.
