I’ve assured PM Modi that I’ll bring home the gold in the next Paralympics: Medallist in Judo The Kapil Parmar

World-ranked Indian judoka player Kapil Parmar said that his next goal is to win gold in the next Olympics, which will be held in Los Angeles in 2028, after he took home the bronze medal at the Paris Paralympics.

 

In an instant, the Indian player finished the competition and won the bronze medal by doing the Ippon in 33 seconds. With Kapil’s victory, India won its 25th medal in the current Paralympic Games.

The fact that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav called and paid us a visit makes me very delighted. After this success, he has given us employment and Rs. 1 crore. We may attempt anything to keep our aspirations alive. “I have assured Prime Minister Modi that I will bring gold to the United States for the upcoming Paralympic Games,” said Kapil Parmar in an interview with ANI.

Additionally, paracanoeist Prachi Yadav said that she will do all in her power to win gold at the next Paralympic Games.

Most people are unaware of the hard work I have been putting into water sports over the last six years.It’s positive when we succeed in our sports and get recognition from others. I would intend on getting training abroad if I were to get Rs 1 crore. I’ll do all in my power to win a gold medal in my competition in the next Olympics in Los Angeles,” Prachi said.

With 29 medals in all, including seven gold, nine silver, and thirteen bronze, the Indian delegation finished their historic campaign at the Paris Paralympics with the most number of medals won by any nation in the competition’s history.
