The executive council meeting of the Indian Olympics Association (IOA) will take place at IOA Bhawan in the nation’s capital on Thursday.

The agenda item for the meeting on transparency and good governance in the organization is the unapproved costs related to the president’s hotel upgrade during the Paris Olympics, which was paid for by IOA.

Along with the unauthorised travel of individuals abroad in the guise of IOA representatives, it will also cover the sponsorship details of the Paris Olympics, the additional costs associated with the Games, and the list of officials and delegations nominated to represent India.

Other items on the agenda that will be discussed at the meeting are:

“Talk about the selection procedure used to choose the Sports Person of Outstanding Merit and their involvement in the IOA election for elected positions, particularly as mentioned in Sunan Kaushik’s letter dated 10-12-2022.

“Talk about the unlawful and menacing correspondence that the President sometimes sends to the Executive Committee members.

Write a letter to IOA chief executive officer PT Usha with the subject line, “Discuss and deliberate upon the scope of powers of the president under the Constitution,” in unison.

“The problem of certain people and unauthorized persons, such as Mr. Iyer and Mr. Ajay Narang, receiving unlawful passes despite the fact that they are not authorized to hold any position or post according to the IOA Constitution.

“The need of informing the IOA Ethics Commission about the president’s behavior. To open an investigation into the IOA’s official communication being leaked to the media

“To make public the list of credentials—including permits and invitations—that were granted to different individuals for the Paris Olympics. the issue of the unauthorized formation of the Ski & Snowboard Ad Hoc Committee. It also mentioned the entrance of unauthorized individuals inside IOA Bhawan.
