Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has once again sparked amusement among social media users after his statement, “When it rains heavily, more water comes,” went viral.

A video showing him humorously attempting to explain an English proverb in Urdu during a speech in Karachi has captured widespread attention online.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal’s “cute video” has become a hot topic.

At an event for the Karachi Bar Council, he tried to express an English saying in Urdu, using hand gestures for emphasis. However, he quickly realized that his phrasing might lead to misunderstandings.

In the viral clip, Bilawal starts to explain the proverb but soon recognizes his mistake, prompting him to clarify that his intended meaning was different from what others might think.

Feeling a bit sheepish, he remarked, “I was attempting to say the English proverb that conveys, ‘If you give them an inch, they take a mile…’”

What he actually meant to say was, “If you give a finger, they take the whole hand,” but he struggled to articulate it and ended up relying on gestures.

Once he recognized that his gestures were being misinterpreted, he humorously noted how his blunder would likely lead to a flood of memes, saying, “Oh no! Memes will definitely be made about my mistake!”

His effort to explain the proverb, coupled with his acknowledgment of the mix-up, caused laughter among the audience at the event, further boosting the video’s popularity.
