Hina Khan is currently going through the third phase of breast cancer. Recently, Hina Khan shared a post on Mahima Chaudhary's birthday, in which she was seen praising Mahima. Hina had told in that post how Mahima came to meet her during her first chemotherapy and supported her in this difficult time. Now recently Mahima Chaudhary told that she had advised Hina not to go to America for her cancer treatment.
Actress Mahima Chaudhary spoke openly about her bonding with Hina Khan and cancer in an interview with India Today. Mahima told how she had advised Hina Khan to get her treatment in India itself.

Recalling her meeting with Hina, Mahima said, “I met Hina at a party and then got in touch. Let me tell you that I was the first person whom Hina Khan contacted after her cancer diagnosis. . Hina told me that she was thinking of going to America for treatment. Then I told Hina that I was also going to go to America, but you should get your treatment not in America but in India only.”
Further in the interview, Mahima Chaudhary told why she had advised Hina Khan not to go to America for cancer treatment. Mahima said, “When you are undergoing treatment, it is a very bad experience. I advised Hina to get her treatment done in Bombay (Mumbai). The medicine for cancer is the same, whether you take it here or in America. There will be the same doctors, same medicines and same treatment. So when we have everything in India then why leave your family and friends and go somewhere else.”
