The death of cows in a cowshed in Greater Noida created a stir. On receiving the information, cow vigilantes reached the spot. Cow protectors created a ruckus in the cowshed, alleging the death of dozens of cows. After the information, the police and administration team reached the cowshed. SDM Dadri inspected the cow shed. Meanwhile, cow protectors accused the cows of keeping them hungry and thirsty. He says that dozens of cows have died in the cow shed.
The administrative officer has said that two cows have died. SDM says that the cows whose remains were visible had already died and were buried here. Their remains are visible due to removal of soil due to rain. Cow protectors have demanded an investigation into the matter. The matter pertains to the cow shed in Girjapur Khandera village of Kotwali Jarcha area.
Cow protectors allege that cows have been found dead on the vacant land of the cowshed. The situation was so bad that crows and animals were seen tearing at the carcasses of cows. The reasons for the death of the cows have not been confirmed yet. There are fears that the cows may have died due to hunger and thirst. There is huge anger among Hindu organizations over the death of cows. Officials of the organization say that lakhs of rupees are spent every month by the government for the care of cows, yet such a picture is being seen. Cow protectors say that they have performed the last rites of four cows on Saturday.
After the death of the cows in the cow shed, administrative officer SDM Dadri, ACP-2 Greater Noida, Tehsildar and police station in-charge reached the spot and took stock. He is busy investigating the matter. A team of doctors from the veterinary department has reached the cow shed and post-mortem of the dead bodies of the cows is being done. Many cows have been found seriously ill and even dying in this cowshed. SDM Dadri says that only two cows have died. Due to heavy rains, the remains of the cows were visible, since the land is public and the dead cows are buried on the same land. Due to which the remains are visible on the spot.
