Once again the glory of Adani Group has been seen in the world. The Global Economic Forum has given a special place to three companies of Adani Group. Adani New Industries Limited, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) and Ambuja Cements have been included in the Transformative Industrial Cluster initiative of the World Economic Forum.

Adani Group said in a statement that the objective of this initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF) is to increase cooperation between companies located at one place and to harmonize their vision. The objective behind this is to accelerate economic growth, generate employment and eliminate carbon emissions by 2050.

Karan Adani, MD, APSEZ and Director, Ambuja Cements, said that joining the WEF initiative will provide an opportunity to signatories to collaborate with global industry peers, research institutes, policy makers and experts to come up with innovative approaches towards decarbonisation. He said that Adani Mundra Cluster aspires to become an integrated green hydrogen manufacturing hub, which helps in reducing emissions in the Indian economy and reducing the country's dependence on energy imports.
