The issue of black marketing of Coldplay concert tickets has been in the news for the last few days. The Economic Offenses Wing is investigating this matter. The new update in this matter is that today i.e. on 30th September, EOW has interrogated Bookmyshow COO Anil Makhija and recorded his statement.
When Anil Makhija appeared outside the office of the Economic Offenses Wing, the media asked him many questions regarding this matter. However, he did not answer any of the media's questions. Recently, EW had summoned Ashish Hemrajani, CEO of Big Tree Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the parent company of BookMyShow, and called him for questioning. However, he did not come to record his statement. Only Anil Makhija came alone. However, there is no information yet about what he said in his statement.
It was revealed that he did not cooperate in the investigation
Along with CEO Ashish Hemrajani, EOW had also sent summons to the technical head of the company. On September 29, news had come out that both of them were not cooperating in the investigation. The police had confirmed that after the summons were sent, both of them did not come to record their statements. Also no information was given regarding not coming.

There are also talks that due to controversies, Coldplay may cancel their India tour, because the controversy surrounding this concert may harm the image of the band. However, there is no official information about this yet.
