After not being selected in the Test series and T20 series against Bangladesh, now there are reports that Rituraj Gaikwad may get a chance in Team India. The big news is that this player can be selected in the team for the Australia tour. According to media reports, Gaikwad will go to Australia as the third opener. According to the report published in Times of India, Gaikwad may be given the role of opening in Australia. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma will be the regular openers of the playing eleven but if needed, Gaikwad can also get this responsibility. If any player gets injured or his form deteriorates then Gaikwad may get a chance. Team India has to go on Australia tour in December where a five-match Test series will be played.
