These days the morale of criminals in Jharkhand is at its peak. The accused shot Jharkhand High Court advocate Baban Prasad near Brajpur village of Ratu police station area of Ranchi. After carrying out the firing incident, both the criminals riding the bike fled away. Advocate Baban Prasad was shot in the shoulder. After the firing incident, the people of the neighborhood immediately informed the police of the local Ratu police station. Along with this, the advocate has been admitted to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for better treatment where he is currently undergoing treatment.
According to the information received, advocate Baban Prasad was returning to his Ratu home after completing his work in the court, during which two criminals riding a bike who had already ambushed him opened fire on him. In the firing incident, a bullet hit the advocate in his shoulder. After shooting, both the criminals fled from there. After receiving information about the case, the police conducted raids at all the check points to nab the criminals.
Advocate Baban Prasad had a property dispute with some people. It is suspected that due to this property dispute, shots were fired at them and an attempt was made to kill them, however, the police is investigating the matter in every possible way. Here, as soon as information was received about the incident of firing on advocate Baban Prasad, a large number of advocates reached RIMS Hospital and inquired about the well-being of the injured advocate. Jharkhand High Court advocate Dheeraj Kumar said that the attempt to kill Jharkhand High Court advocate Baban Prasad by shooting is a serious and worrying incident.
He further said that any strong condemnation of this is less because this incident is a threat to the independence and security of the judiciary. Special arrangements should be made for the safety of advocates, so that they can do their work safely. The society should also condemn this incident and unite for the safety of the lawyers. He demanded from the Jharkhand government that a high level investigation should be conducted into this incident so that the culprits can be punished so that such incidents are not repeated in future.
