PM-Kisan 18th installment: Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central government is set to release the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana scheme on October 5 2024 (Saturday) as millions of registered farmers will receive Rs 2000 in their bank accounts via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. PM Kisan- Check beneficiary status Visit the official website of PM Kisan (https://pmkisan.gov.in/) Click Beneficiary Status Enter your Aadhaar or registered account number Hit Get Data and your beneficiary details will be displayed on screen Verify your payment details and print for future reference if you desire PM Kisan scheme requirements Farmers who have registered for the PM Kisan Yojana must complete their e-KYC which is mandatory for availing the benefits of the scheme. The rules of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana mandate that only those farmers who have completed their e-KYC and their land verification requirements will be granted the benefits of the scheme. How to complete e-KYC for PM-Kisan online? Visit the official website of PM Kisan (https://pmkisan.gov.in/) Click “Farmers Corner” Click “e-KYC”. Enter your Aadhaar number and click “Get OTP”. Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and hit submit. Farmers can also complete e-KYC using the facial authentication method available on the PM-Kisan app. Complete KYC offline If for some reason any registered farmer is unable to complete the e-KYC process online they can head to their nearby Common Service Centre (CSC) or State Seva Kendra to complete biometric-based authentication where their iris or fingerprint will be scanned to complete the KYC requirement. PM-Kisan scheme: Eligibility As per the rules of the PM-Kisan Yojana land-holding farmers and their families who own cultivable land are eligible for benefits of the scheme. Additionally small and marginal farmers who own up to 2 hectares of land can also register under PM-Kisan and avail benefits of the scheme. The Narendra Modi government has asserted that a farmer-centric digital infrastructure has ensured the benefits of the scheme reach all the farmers across the country without any involvement of the intermediaries. About PM Kisan Yojana PM-Kisan Yojana is a central government scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February to provide financial aid to land-holding farmers. Under the scheme eligible farmers are given Rs 6000 per year transferred in three installments of Rs 2000 each on a periodic basis. The 17th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme was released earlier in June this year. The PM-Kisan scheme one of the largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes in the world transfers the benefits directly into the bank accounts of registered farmers across the country via DBT mode.
