Panjiri Laddu: Make special Panjiri Laddu in winters

Panjiri Laddu: Panjiri is an Indian sweet made from wheat flour fried in sugar and ghee. It is rich in dry fruits and gond (herbal gum). This traditional sweet is a great favorite during the winter season. It is believed to generate heat in the body, reduce body pain and strengthen immunity. This Panjiri Laddu is a quick and delicious dessert made only with cooked Panjiri.
Material

Ghee

Dry fruits (makhana, cashew nuts, almonds, dry coconut)

Sugar

Semolina

Method

– First of all, put some ghee in a pan and fry the makhanas till they turn golden brown. Once done, take them out in a plate and grate them well. – Now fry semolina with ghee in the same pan. After frying well, add flour to it and mix well. Add ground makhana, dry coconut, cashew nuts and almonds to the semolina mixture. Now, add sugar and mix well. Grease your palms with ghee and then shape this mixture into small laddus. Let them set for a while before consuming. Panjiri laddus are ready!
