At one time the terror of demons increased greatly. Their terror created an uproar all around. The demons defeated Indra, the king of the gods, and took his heavenly abode under their control and also started taking the share of the yagya of the gods themselves. In such a situation, the gods, deeply troubled and saddened by the atrocities of demon king Mahishasura, thought of a solution to this problem and went to Brahmadev, the creator of the universe. Hearing all the pain of the gods, Lord Brahma saw the past of the demon king with his divine vision and told the gods that only a virgin girl could kill this extremely terrible demon. Hearing all this, all the gods along with Brahmadev, Mahadev and Vishnu reached Lord Vishnu.

When all the gods told the reason for their distress to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva, then suddenly their eyebrows got raised in anger and the divine supernatural radiance of both of them appeared and merged into each other. After this, the radiance of all the gods also became one. One by one they started getting absorbed in that supernatural divine beam of light.
Mother's face was created by the divine glory of Devadhidev Mahadev, while Mother's powerful arms were created by the glory of Lord Hari Vishnu, the sustainer of this world. Both the feet of the mother appeared due to the glory of the creator Brahma ji.
