When Shahrukh Khan was going through a bad phase, director Siddharth Anand came to his aid. He made 'Pathan' with SRK. Shahrukh made a comeback with this film. Shahrukh got the benefit of the atmosphere set by this film in 'Jawaan' and 'Dinky'. Now Siddharth wants to make a courtroom drama with him. He himself has said this.
Actually Siddharth Anand told Bollywood Hungama that he has been after Shahrukh for many years. He has a script for a courtroom drama, but things didn't work out. Siddharth was asked whether he wanted to make a horror film. In response to this he said that he not only wants to make a horror film, but more than that he wants to make a courtroom drama.
In Siddharth's words – I would definitely like to make a horror film. Not just because this genre is people's choice these days. In fact, I have a film which I have been wanting to make for many years. This is a courtroom drama. I was after Shahrukh in 2011-12 that I would make this film with him. But at that time he neither said yes nor was ready to do the film.” Siddharth says that he still has that script. He also keeps telling Shahrukh about this. He still wants to make that film.
It is possible that Siddharth may be successful in convincing Shahrukh in the coming days. This is because Shahrukh trusts him a lot. Shahrukh's upcoming film 'King' may be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, but Siddharth is supervising its action scenes. It can be guessed from this that Shahrukh likes Siddharth. But now let's see, when will he like his courtroom drama script.
