Hardik Pandya, star all-rounder of Indian cricket team, is set to make his return in upcoming India vs Bangladesh three-match T20 International series.

IND vs BAN T20I series will mark Pandya's first appearance for the 'Men in Blue' since their T20 series against Sri Lanka, as he had taken a break from the ODI series during that tour. The all-rounder isn't part of India's Test setup, which explains his absence from Test series against Bangladesh.

Hardik Pandya has played 102 T20 International matches for India, during which he has taken 86 wickets so far. If he secures at least five more wickets in the upcoming three-match IND vs BAN T20I series, he will surpass Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar in list of Indians with most wickets in T20Is.

Star leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal ranks first on the elite list, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar in second place, having taken 90 wickets in 87 T20I matches, and Jasprit Bumrah in third, with 89 wickets from 70 T20I matches.

Yuzvendra Chahal, at present, is the Indian bowler with maximum wickets in T20Is, with 96 scalps in 80 matches. His last T20 appearance was on August 20, 2023, and he has not been a regular part of the T20 setup for almost two years. Chahal's wicket tally could have exceeded 150 by now if he had been a regular selection for T20 team.

Hardik Pandya extensive experience and skills makes him is a key player for India in upcoming IND vs BAN T20Is. Alongside teammates like Suryakumar Yadav, Washington Sundar, and Arshdeep, he is the most experienced member of the squad in terms of international matches.
