The year 2020 was one of the saddest years for the entire Bollywood industry. During this year B-town lost three of its gems who not only excelled in their acting skills but also had golden hearts. Among them was one actor who was hailed for his exceptional performances in every film. This actor started his career in 1988 and since then he never looked back. His death brought heartache not only to the Bollywood industry but also to his fans. If you are wondering who this actor is it is the iconic and legendary late actor Irrfan Khan. While many might think that Irrfan had an easy life in the acting field the reality is beyond imagination. In an earlier interview the late actor revealed that he was doing a technical course in Jaipur before moving to Bombay. He later mentioned that he worked in the field going to different houses to repair air conditioners. Talking about this the actor once said that he found this job dull. However do you know that during this time he had the opportunity to fix the air conditioning at Bollywood star Rajesh Khannas house? Irrfan recounted “I remember that someone opened the door and asked me who I was. I replied that I was there to fix the AC and that’s how I ended up at his home. However later I went back to Jaipur and wanting to work my father introduced me to someone and I ended up working at a fan shop.” Not many people know that despite his excellent performances in acting Irrfan wanted to be a cricketer. He played so well that he was shortlisted for the CK Nayudu Trophy. However he had to withdraw from the tournament due to a lack of funds for travel. This led the actor down a different path and he enrolled himself in the National School of Drama in Delhi. Regarding Irrfans debut the actor started his acting journey with “Salaam Bombay.” Slowly he carved his path in the industry and won over countless hearts. He also made a mark on television beginning his career with the Doordarshan serial “Shreekant.” Alongside this he successfully ventured into Hollywood showcasing his talent on an international stage. Irrfan Khan passed away at the age of 53 due to Neuroendocrine tumor.
