Amethi SP Anoop Singh said that the deceased teacher Sunil Bharti lived with his family in a rented room at Ahorwa Bhawani intersection of Shivratanganj police station area. On Thursday, Chandan Verma shot dead the entire family. Along with Sunil Bharti, his wife and two daughters were also among the dead. During police interrogation, Chandan gave information about the entire incident. Chandan confessed that this entire incident was carried out by him.

On Thursday, Chandan reached Sunil's rented house at Ahorwa Bhawani intersection with his Bullet. Before that, Chandan parked his Bullet car at the mobile shop of a distant relative Deepak.
