Kangana’s Emergency movie release

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut’s directorial, Emergency has been finally greenlit by the Censor Board. The movie initially faced heavy backlash from several Sikh organisations that claimed that Emergency portrayed Sikhs in a negative light. After reviewing the movie, the Censor Board allowed the release of the film. But, there’s a catch, the board asked the makers to remove at least 13 scenes from the movie, and only then can it be released.
