Here, clarifying the relationship between cerebral palsy disease and newborns, Professor Karen Luitt said that premature delivery or pre-term birth is a major cause of conditions like cerebral palsy and brain injury in children. Apart from this, another said that, “The rate of cerebral palsy disease has been seen to be very low in the children of mothers who were given this medicine.” However, there is little evidence for this. The claim was presented after clinical trials which made it clear that with this medicine it is easy to control the risk of cerebral palsy to a great extent.
