Sabudana Momos Recipe: The period of Shardiya Navratri is going on where during Navratri everyone observes fast and receives blessings from Mother Goddess. During Navratri, 9 forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped for 9 days and worshiping during this period has a different significance. During the fast, everyone likes to take fruit food and eat sago khichdi and kheer. For those who are fond of eating momos, a new dish has emerged during Navratri, whose name is Sabudana Momos. You can make it at home also with a very easy method.

To make Sabudana Momos, you will need many ingredients which are as follows…

Sabudana – 1 cup (soaked and squeezed)
Potatoes – 3 medium sized (boiled and mashed)
Peanuts- 1/2 cup (roasted and coarsely ground)
Green chillies – 2-3 (finely chopped)
Rock salt- as per taste
Coriander powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Desi ghee- 2-3 spoons
Green Coriander – 2-3 teaspoons (finely chopped)
Lemon juice- 1 teaspoon (as per taste)
Water for steaming- as per need)

Learn how to make Sabudana Momos

Here you can make sago momos with all these ingredients which are as follows..

1- To make this, first of all wash the sago and soak it in water for 4-5 hours. Then mash it lightly.
2- Now mash the boiled potatoes and add peanuts, green chillies, rock salt and coriander powder and mix well.
3- After this, make small balls of soaked sago. Roll out each ball thinly with a rolling pin.
4-Now fill the stuffing in the middle and fold the edges to give the shape of momos.
5- Then boil water in a big vessel. Add momos to it and boil for 5-7 minutes.
6- After this, if the momos start floating on top, then understand that they are cooked.
7- Finally, serve boiled momos hot with green chutney or curd.
