BLACKPINK Rose took to Instagram and announced the release date of her much anticipated solo album, titled ‘Rosie,’ the full-length album set to release on December 6, 2024.
Roseanne Park shared a photograph featuring her different personas and wrote, “My first studio album “rosie” OUT DEC 6th.
Rose has obtained several accolades throughout her career, including two Guinness World Records and a Mnet Asian Music Award.
She is the third-most followed Korean individual on Instagram and appeared on Rolling Stone’s list of living icons from Australia and New Zealand.
Blackpink members have chosen to work with different agencies for their solo projects. Jennie established her own label called ODD ATELIER to support K-pop solo artists.
Blackpink is the highest-charting female Korean act on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 13 with “Ice Cream” , and on the US Billboard 200, peaking at number one with Born Pink .
BLACKPINK Rose as Sulwhasoo global ambassador
Rose has been acknowledged for her role in fashion as a global ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent, and became one of the first female Korean idols to attend the Met Gala in 2021.
Recently YG Entertainment associate company, The Black Label company founder Teddy confirmed that Rosie signed an exclusive contract with them. It was later revealed on 26 September that singer had signed a solo deal with Atlantic Records.
Singer Rosie reportedly recorded a cover of Coldplay’s 2008 song “Viva la Vida” for the trailer and finale of the Apple TV+ series Pachinko’s second season in 2024.
On 1 October, singer announced that her much anticipated debut studio album Rosie would be released on 6 December 2024 on her social media accounts.
While Jennie is also gearing up for the release of her solo comeback track Mantra. Ahead of its highly anticipated release on October 11, the K-pop idol has become embroiled in a cultural appropriation dispute.
It is reported that YG Entertainment will soon make an announcement regrading Blackpink 2025 world tour.
