Mobile notifications distract you: Science has made great strides in the last few years. The world has become smart and now from landline phones to smartphones are in people's hands. Along with this, this progress of the world has also created some unknown problems for the people. Earlier phones were used only for talking to people. But now phones are used for almost all work.

But not just for need and convenience, there are many such people in the world. People who spend unnecessary time on the phone. Instead of doing things that are important to them. People who use phones don't even realize how much of their day a notification from their smartphone wastes. California University has done research on this. In which many shocking figures have come to light.

According to research by the University of California, when someone picks up the phone to check notifications. So it takes him 23 minutes to concentrate on his work again. That is, if you check only four notifications in a day. So about one and a half hour of your time is wasted. If you keep your phone close while doing any important work.

So a notification from the phone distracts you from that important work. Your mind loses concentration again and again. You cannot complete a task by concentrating on it. Then working with this concentration wastes a lot of your time. If you have thought about any long-term goal. And if you use the phone continuously then it can be very difficult to achieve that goal.

According to a study by American company Asurion, Americans check their phones 352 times a day. This study also revealed that 49% of Americans suffer from phone addiction. This means they have to have their phone with them at all times.

Indians are also addicted to using phones

According to the World of Statistics report, India is at 17th place in the list of smartphone addiction. Thus America is at 18th place. In this list, China is first, Saudi Arabia is second, Malaysia is third, Brazil South Korea is at fourth place and fifth place.
