Lisa Hogan has said her boyfriend is "horrified" by her love of electric cars, with the actress pointing out "he just likes V12 engines".

Clarkson's Farm star Lisa, 50, made the comment on the Sunday with Miriam podcast and discussed what the presenter is actually like to live with.

She said: "We just mooch along. I would say I'm quite relaxed and I'm quite inquisitive, and he's interesting, so I do listen and he'll read me his columns sometimes and I will say, 'I disagree with every word of that'.

"He wrote something about Jane Eyre the other day and I just said that's so... I disagree with everything on it, but he will be provocative for that reason.

"I like electric cars and he's horrified by that, but I like the silence and I like the cleanliness and he just likes V12 engines, but we are each entitled to our own opinions and we have them."

has been outspoken in his views of electric cars, as their renaissance has continued in the first half of the 21st century.

This continued in his final outing with fellow hosts and as he ruminated on the sound of the Montecarlo he was driving and how noise made petrol cars stand out from electric cars.

The presenter reflected: "Can you hear that? I love that sound. And all you lot growing up today with your , you're never gonna hear it.

"There are lots of reasons why we're jacking this show in, but, for me, one of the main ones is I'm simply not interested in electric cars. They are just white goods, they're washing machines, they're microwave ovens. You can't review those, you can't enjoy them."

Jeremy and Lisa have been dating since around 2017; they co-run the former's farm and have recently hosted an event that welcomed nearly 200 fox-red .

Two of these, Sansa and Arya, belong to Jeremy and Lisa who were introduced to the other 177 Labradors at the event organised by Michael Singer's wife Kerry, reported .

Since Sansa and Arya's arrival in the Clarkson household, Jeremy has posted regular updates about his and Lisa's beloved hounds.

Speaking about the event, Michael Kerry said: "It was amazing. Everyone was really happy to be there - everyone had a fantastic day. All the dogs were really well-behaved.

"It was a two birds one stone moment. I get to see a lot of Fox Red Labs, plus I get to go to Jeremy's pub."
