On Sunday, the loco pilot of a passenger train stopped the train after seeing a pile of soil on the railway tracks near Raghuraj Singh railway station in Kheeroon police station area of Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh. Inspector (SHO) Devendra Bhadoria, in-charge of Kheeron police station, said that some soil had fallen on the railway track from a dumper, which was removed. After the removal of soil, train movement has started. He told that the matter is being investigated.
Local villagers told that road construction work is going on. In this, the work of transporting soil from dumper is done at night. Even late on Sunday evening, a driver was carrying soil from a dumper. Suddenly, after pouring mud on the railway track, he ran away with the dumper towards the cucumbers.
After some time, the shuttle train running between Rae Bareli and Raghuraj Singh station arrived, but when the loco pilot saw mud on the railway track, he stopped the train. Due to the station being at some distance, the speed of the train was also low. A major accident was averted due to the intelligence of the loco pilot. After removing the soil from the railway track, the train was taken out very slowly. During this time a large crowd of villagers also gathered at the spot.
