Mayank Yadav, a fast bowler for the Lucknow Super Giants who made news in the IPL 2024 for his lightning speed, played his first T20I for India on October 6, 2018. He was in India’s starting XI for the first T20I of their three-match series against Bangladesh, which took place in Gwalior. At the end of the match, he had scores of 4-1-21-1. The right-arm pacer, who is 22 years old, started his T20I career by throwing his first over. He was only the third Indian pacer to do so, and it was the second ball of his second over that he took his first international wicket.

Mahmudullah, a star hitter from Bangladesh, tried to hit him with a big shot, but he missed the mark and Washington Sundar caught the ball. In a post on Instagram, Mayank talked about how happy he was to be able to play for the senior India men’s cricket team after his amazing start for India at the brand-new New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior.

Mayank says that putting on the Indian shirt is like a dream come true and will always be the best time of his life.

The kid put four pictures from the game on a famous photo and video sharing site and wrote, “Playing for your country as a cricketer is the best feeling in the world, and for me, wearing the blue jersey is like a dream come true. This will always be the best moment of my life.” It was God who gave me strength, and I’m thankful for all the people who helped me through the hard times.

Besides Mayank, Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy also did well with their bowling in the first game of the series. They each took three wickets, which helped him get rid of Bangladesh for 127 runs in 19.5 overs. The India men’s cricket team easily reached the goal of 130 runs in 11.5 overs, losing only three wickets.

Hardik Pandya scored the most runs for the hosts with 39 from 16 balls without being out. He won the game by hitting a six off of Taskin Ahmed’s bowling.
