Geo News cited sources that said people could hear the blast in Karimabad, Defense, and Jamshed Road, among other places in the city.
At first, it seemed like an oil truck blew up, setting fire to many of the cars at the scene. Additionally, the police and firemen have arrived at the scene.

Azfar Mahesar, the Deputy Inspector General for East, described what happened, saying, “From what we know so far, an oil tanker caught fire, and the fire spread to several other vehicles, causing damage to other things.”

Reporters from Reuters said, “We are trying to figure out if there was a terrorist element to it, which we cannot rule out at this time.”
It’s important to note that all of the hurt were taken to Jinnah Hospital for medical care. On Sunday, there was a blast near Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport that sent thick clouds of smoke over the area.

Rescue teams, police, and Rangers quickly got to the scene to help those who were hurt and keep the area safe. The reason for the blast is being looked into.
Sindh’s chief minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has asked the police head to give a full report on what happened and has told the officials to make sure the hurt get the best medical care possible.
