The Namo Bharat train was created by Indian engineers with the goal of creating and building trains that live up to public expectations. The inaugural Amrit Bharat Train, which runs nonstop between Bengaluru and Malda, was opened in January 2024.

The Amrit Bharat train will soon begin to be produced in large quantities. said Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today as he examined the status of the city’s Bengaluru Cantt. Amrit Bharat Station rehabilitation project.

“We will apply the lessons learned from the first trains to Amrit Bharat version 2.0,” he said. The Minister went on to say that Bengaluru is where Vande Bharat Sleeper is constructed. The train is now undergoing testing, and it will begin deploying as soon as it passes inspection. He underlined that Nammo Bharat quick trains would be used to link cities that are up to 150 or 200 kilometers apart. People from nearby locations are drawn to Bengaluru by its magnetism. The purpose of building the Nammo Bharat fast trains in Karnataka is to use them to transport residents in nearby regions to Bengaluru.

The Minister said that he was satisfied with the work being done at Bengaluru Cantt. Station and that a new space of 18000 sq. m. had been established at the station. There will be underground parking that can accommodate 250 vehicles, including 250 motorcycles. He said that the circular trains were also making significant progress. The transportation system in Bengaluru city will alter as a result of these circular trains.
