In Bengal, women gather in pandals on the day of Dussehra and apply vermilion to each other. This ceremony symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Women of Bengal wear traditional red Paad saree and do Solah Singar for Sindoor Khela. Women also perform Dhak dance in the pandal to please Goddess Durga.
