Naraingarh Vidhan Sabha Seat 2024 Live Results: Congress can play big, BJP’s hands empty since 2014

Election results for Narayangarh assembly seat of Haryana will be revealed today. Counting of votes will start from 8 am. This is the same seat from where current CM Nayab Singh Saini was contesting in 2014. However, this time BJP has changed the candidate from here and has fielded Pawan Saini. On the other hand, Congress has given ticket to Shaili Chaudhary. Elections have been held on this seat 13 times so far, out of which Congress has won 6 times while BJP has won only once.

Narayangarh seat is a seat of Ambala district of Haryana. This seat is of general category. In this election, a direct contest is being considered between Congress and BJP. Congress has given ticket to its sitting MLA. Now it remains to be seen in whose favor the result goes on this seat and which candidate wins. Harbilas Singh has been fielded on this seat by the JJP-BSP alliance.

Congress got 53,470 votes in 2019

Talking about the 2019 elections, Congress candidate Shaili got 53,470 votes while BJP's Surendra Singh got 32,870 votes. The difference of victory and defeat between the two candidates was 20,600 votes. JJP candidate Ram Singh Dhillon was at third place on this seat, who got 18,753 votes. Talking about vote percentage, Congress got 39.56 percent votes and BJP got 24.32 percent votes. Then the total number of voters on this seat was 1,82,142.

What do the election figures of 2014 say?

Talking about the election data of 2014, then BJP had won here and Naib Singh Saini was elected MLA. In the then elections, the party got the benefit of Modi wave and also the benefit of anti-incumbency against the Congress government. Saini got 55,931 votes in the elections while Congress had to be content with 31,570 votes.

Elections have been held on this seat 13 times so far

There have been 13 assembly elections on this seat in Haryana so far, out of which Congress has won 6 times. Assembly elections were held here for the first time in 1967. Till now BJP has won this seat only once. Apart from BJP, Congress, INLD and BSP candidates have also tried their luck here.
