According to HK01the 74-year-old actor revealed that Wong, 37, is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2025, and he has consulted experts to select an auspicious wedding date, planning to hold the ceremony in Shenzhen, China.

“Once Wong finishes her sentence, I’ll support her in enhancing her beauty, so she can look radiant on our special day. We’re ready to begin our new life together,” the TVB actor said.

Wong, who owns a large property in Foshan, China, may face difficulties entering Hong Kong in the future, so Lee believes that registering their marriage will help her obtain a visa more easily.

Originally from mainland China, Chris Wong, also known as Wong Ching Ha, was arrested in February for attempting to gain priority entry into Hong Kong using false documents.

During a court session on June 19, she was sentenced to 25 months in prison for multiple offenses, including using fake documents and overstaying her visa. Wong admitted to the charges and accepted the sentence, with the couple deciding not to appeal despite Lee being shocked by the severity of the punishment.

Lee, known for his roles in popular TVB series like “The Return of the Condor Heroes,” “Journey to the West,” and “The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber,” has continued to act in recent years in productions such as “Forensic Heroes 2020” and “Sinister Beings.”

Beyond acting, Lee is also a singer. The couple has been together since 2018, and Lee has defended Wong against rumors that she is only interested in him for financial gain. Lee was previously married and has three children, all older than his current fiancée.
