The results of assembly elections 2024 have come in Haryana. Here, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has created history in Haryana by securing absolute majority for the third consecutive time. In this election, Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party had contested the election in alliance with the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD). However, BSP did not succeed in winning even a single seat. Now BSP chief Mayawati has fiercely targeted the Jat community.

BSP chief Mayawati wrote on social media platform Due to this, BSP candidates lost some seats by a small margin of votes. However, the entire vote of BSP was transferred.

Mayawati

Question on casteist mentality

He further wrote that the people of Jat community of Uttar Pradesh have changed their casteist mentality to a great extent and they have also become MLAs from BSP and ministers in the government. People of Jat community of Haryana state should also follow his footsteps and change their casteist mentality.

People should not be disappointed: Mayawati

Mayawati said that I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of BSP for contesting this election with full strength and assure that their hard work will not go in vain. People should not be disappointed nor lose courage, but should be ready to make their own path. The BSP chief said that a new path will emerge.

These parties also got a shock

Apart from BSP, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), which emerged as kingmaker in the last Haryana Assembly elections, could not win a single seat this time and its leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala himself lost the election. Similarly, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) also. It failed to improve its position and its leader Abhay Singh Chautala lost his seat. JJP failed to win any seat whereas in 2019 it had won 10 seats in the 90-seat assembly. INLD won two seats in this assembly election, which is one more than what it won in the last election.
